Law clerk to Judge Edward S. Northrop, U.S. District Court, District of Maryland, 1964. University of Maryland School of Law, LL.B., 1964, J.D., 1969. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1964. Instructor (paralegal program), Dundalk Community College, 1974-77. Member, American Judicature Society; Baltimore Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. Life membership, Metropolitan Baltimore Chamber of Commerce. Silver Beaver Award, and Silver Antelope Award, Boy Scouts of America. Honor Award, American Federation of Police. St. George Episcopal Award, Episcopal Church and Boy Scouts of America.
