Served in U.S. Army, 1942-46 (Technical Sergeant, 1942-46; later Lt. Col., U.S. Army Reserves). Member of Bars of Massachusetts, District of Columbia, U.S. Supreme Court, and U.S. Court of Claims. Died January 6, 2002.
