Member, American Bar Association; District of Columbia Bar Association; Maryland State Bar Association (board of governors, 1979-80); Anne Arundel County Bar Association (treasurer, 1962-63; president, 1976-77); Maryland Municipal Attorneys Association (president, 1977-79). Member, Jewish War Veterans; B'nai B'rith; Amos Lodge-Masons; American Judicature Society. Community Achievement Award, B'nai B'rith, 1980. Human Relations Award, Frontier Club, 1980.
